It is never a good idea to have the kidney damaged because no one survives without this organ. The kidney is one of the most important part of our body which requires special care at all times.

Sometimes, our lifestyle is responsible for so many diseases which we suffer today. We do things that are in one way or the other causing harm to us without our knowledge.

As we all know, the kidney is responsible for the removal of waste products from our body. The liquid we take is regulated and balanced by the kidney, and then it eventually removes the one that is not required by the body.

1. We must stop holding up urine for too long before passing it out. This may also cause bladder damage as urine is stored in the bladder. However, holding urine for long multiplies the bacteria which eventually returns back to the kidney thereby posing a very serious threat on the kidney.

2. The kidney does not like it when we consume too much sugar especially when it has to do with processed ones. It makes the kidney work excessively which could lead to it’s failure, so we must stop consuming too much sugar to in order to save the kidney.

3. Another thing which we should not do in order to prevent kidney failure is consumption of carbonated and caffeinated drinks. This kills the kidney like no man’s business and we must be conscious of these drinks because, they are just processed products that contain great amount of chemicals which are very bad for the kidney.4. We should also stop allowing the body to get dehydrated. The kidney needs water at every point in time in order to carry out it’s duties very well. Staying without water for a long time gives it room to break down. However, we are advised to drink at least 3 litres of water everyday to stay healthy and hydrated
