Over the years, Nigeria has produced great actors across each state. However, we tend to give majority of credit to Lagos State since that’s where most of them are based.
Although most of the popular actors in Nigeria started their careers in Lagos, there is still a place they call their home. That’s the place they hail from.
With this, we will be revealing to you the state of origin of some popular Nigerian actors.
1. Jim Iyke
Jim Iyke was born on the 25th of September, 1971 in Libreville, Gabon. His parents are Mr. and Mrs Stephen Okolue, whose last name changed to Esomugha from Ogwugwu Village in Enugu Agidi town of Anambra State.
2. Ramsey Nouah
Ramsey Tokunbo Nouah Jr. was born in Lagos on December 19,1970 to an Israeli father and a Yoruba mother who hails from Owo, Ondo State.
If we are to take him to be a Nigerian, then we are right to say he is from Ondo state.
3. Williams Uchemba
Uchemba Williams was born in the Southeastern part of Nigeria, Abia State.
4. Emeka Ike
Emeka Ike is from Imo State.
5. Odunlade Adekola
Odunlade Adekola was born on 31th of December, 1978 in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State, southwestern Nigeria. He is, however, a native of Otun Ekiti, Ekiti State.
6. Femi Adebayo
Femi Adebayo was born on 31 of December 1978 in Lagos, southwest Nigeria. His father, who is a veteran Nigerian actor Adebayo Salami (Oga Bello), hails from Ilorin, Kwara State.
7. Kelvin Ikeduba
Kelvin Ikeduba is from Delta state.
8. Ibrahim Yekini
Ibrahim Yekini (Itele d’icon) hails from Lafenwa, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
9. Ken Erics
Ken Erics was born in Kano State, Northwest Nigeria on 28 February 1985 and is the sixth of seven children of Eric Chukwuemeka Nwenweh and Grace Ifeyinwa Nwenweh both of Enugwu-Ukwu in Anambra State, Southeast Nigeria. He is of Igbo descent
