According to ABC Deportes reports, Chelsea has resumed their push to sign Jules Koundé. Koundé and Sevilla are interested in a deal although the Spanish will not let their player leave on the cheap. The 22-year-old Sevilla player is said to have already agreed personal terms with Chelsea.

In recent days, the pursuit of the French international slowed down a bit as Chelsea went all out to sign a striker.
However, with the deal for Lukaku seemingly in the bag, the Chelsea hierarchy can now focus on bolstering the defence.

It is said that Tuchel is very interested in the youngster as he is the one pushing to bring Koundé down to Stamford Bridge. However, tough negotiator Marina Granovskaia will not be forced to over pay. After all, Chelsea still have the likes of Zouma, Christensen, Rudiger and T. Silva on their books.

Jules Koundé has an €80 million release clause in his contract. Nonetheless, Chelsea will offer a deal not exceeding €70 million. Zouma valued at €40 million may be included in a swap deal.
