Following the compliance to the sit-at-home order as directed by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), there are indications that the forthcoming elections in Anambra State might not hold.
This is according to Simon Ekpa who threatened that the Indigenous People of Biafra will activate a “No-election-in-Biafraland order”. He further stated that it is expected that this order will start from the Anambra State elections, slated to hold on November 6, 2021.
Simon Ekpa who is based at Finland in no uncertain terms, criticized the leadership of the South-East.
He declared that the South East leaders were so disconnected from the masses that they, the leaders, could not recognize the wishes of the masses. Similarly, they also failed to recognize how far the masses are willing to go to actualize these wishes.
He also advised them to borrow a leaf from their Northern counterparts.
In his words, “The leaders in the SE don’t know what the electorate are ready to do. The struggle has entered AutoPilot. The leaders from SE must learn from Northerners.”
Recall that the Indigenous People of Biafra had made attempts to prevent the conduction and masses’ participation in the last general elections before the intervention of stakeholders.
