It’s very clear that many Nigerian students have wondered what the best course to study in school that will guarantee employment with good payment almost immediately after they have graduated from higher institutions.

Although the country is facing some challenges that has caused unemployment for some graduates, but despite the level of unemployment in Nigeria, there are courses you can study and get good paying jobs easily after graduating.

According to research I made from Google, below are some courses you can study in Nigeria and get job easily after graduating.

1. Medicine and Surgery:

Medicine and Surgery is the science and practice of the diagnosing, treating, and preventing disease. It’s one of the best course you can study to get employment easily.

2. Law:  

This is one of the top courses to study in Nigeria tertiary institutions. It has to do with learning of laws, learning how to apply those laws, and learning how to process transactions and legal claims on behalf of clients.

3. Medical Laboratory Science:

This is one of the courses with high rate of job opportunities in Nigeria. It is a Biology/Chemistry based course. 

4. Pharmacy:

Pharmacy is the science course that deals with the study of preparing and dispensing of medical drugs. 

5. Mass Communication:

Mass Communication is a social science course that deal with the study of imparting and conveying information through mass media to the public.

6. Electrical/Electronic Engineering

Electrical /Electronic Engineering is a branch of science and technology concerned with the practical applications of electricity in all its forms.

7. Mechanical Engineering:

mechanical engineering is a branch of science and technology that focuses on creating technologies to meet human needs and make life easier for man. 

8. Civil Engineering: 

Civil engineers design, build, and supervise the construction of infrastructure, projects and systems.

This is social science course, and it has to do with recording of financial transactions pertaining to a business. and it is one of the best courses to study in Nigerian tertiary institutions.

10. Economics:

This is also a social science course that deals with studying of the production and distribution of wealth and resources.
