President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to return to the Nigerian capital, Abuja, on Friday.
He is due to land at Nnamdi Azikwe International Airport, Abuja at 5pm after a two-week visit to the United Kingdom where he attended an international conference on education and saw his private doctors for regular check-ups. This day live news channel revealed
According to a police telegram sent on Thursday, all the Divisional Commanders and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command have been ordered to gather in Abuja.
He said: “The President will arrive in Abuja from his overseas trip tomorrow (Friday), 12/08/2021 at 1700 am. “The Commissioner of Police has directed all Section Commanders and DPOs to deploy enough in Abuja. Time in position, 1530hrs.”
President Buhari left Nigeria for the UK on July 26 to attend the World Summit on Support On Thursday, Buhari paid a courtesy call on former Lagos State governor and APC leader Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, who is said to be recuperating in the United Kingdom.
