
THE Ooni of Ife will receive Okun Alimosho in his palace
THE Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, will receive Okun Alimosho and a host of other interest groups from Alimosho in his palace on August 26, 2021.
Okun Alimosho, a not-for-profit group with the motive to reinstate the African culture into the African continent, starting out from its base, Alimosho, will visit His Royal Highness, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi to present its laudable ideologies and particularly introduce its Alimosho Festival 2021 coming up in November and December.
Also to be received by His Royal Highness during the visit are the Alimosho Bikers Club, AlimoshoToday.com, The Association of Nigerian Theatre Practitioners, Alimosho branch (ANTP), The Theatre Arts & Movie Practitioners Association of Nigeria, Alimosho branch (TAMPAN), Alimosho cultural troop, The Alimosho FC, Awori community, the Dog Lovers Club, and the Africa G.A.T.E.S.
Damope Pictures, KesCreatives, Infinite Films, Studio24 are also youth-run business entities on the royal visit train
It is expected that the Okun Alimosho-led visit to His Royal Highness will position Alimosho as a community able to preserve its cultural heritage. It is also likely that the visit may help secure assurance of presence from the Monarch at the end of the year Alimosho Festival, 2021.
Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi is the 51st and current Ooni Of Ife. He is the traditional ruler and monarch of the Yoruba kingdom of Ile-Ife. He acceded to the throne in 2015 succeeding the deceased Oba Okunade Sijuwade. who was the 50th Ooni Of Ife.
