Russian government has agreed to supply lethal weapon to Nigeria to end banditry

President Muhammadu Buhari’s regime has signed a deal that will ensure Russia’s supply of lethal weapons to Nigeria.

Specifically, the deal is a military-technical cooperation agreement with the Russian government, the “Nigerian embassy in Russia” said.

While declaring open the ‘seventh international military-technical forum – Army 2021’, President Vladimir Putin disclosed that contracts for the supply of the military equipment had been concluded.

The federal government of Nigeria have been doing its best to make sure that the issue of insecurity in Nigeria is resolved. Banditry, Terrorism & Kidnappings have been major issues the federal government is hoping to bring to an end as soon as possible.

Bandits have caused a lot of problem in Nigeria, they have attacked many communities and kidnapped some people within the country. The attacks launched by bandits across various communities have also led to various reactions from Nigerians.

However, is this the end of banditry as Russian government agrees to supply lethal weapons to Nigeria?.
