There have been so many rumors that have trailed as to why Muslim brothers often bend down to urinate instead of standing up like normal males do. They have practiced that lifestyle and it keeps getting passed down from one generation to another. Indeed, there are reasons why Muslim men bend down to urinate, which shows they are true followers of Allah.
It dates back centuries ago, during the time of the prophet Mohammed (may peace be unto him). There were certain rules that should be followed when urinating, which the prophet emulated. One of those rules is bending down while urinating, but the question now is why?
According to the prophet, standing up to urinate can curse impurities on the surface of a place, which would lead to uncleanliness for the next person who wants to use that same spot for urinating. Furthermore, he said that no male is allowed to see each other’s private organs and, for that reason, each Muslim should go far away from each other and bend down while urinating. According to Islam, it is a healthy way of disposing of impurities with dignity. Allah detests it when two people relieve themselves uncovered and have a conversation.
The prophet always sat down when urinating. This act was then emulated by Muslims to show that they are true followers.
Reason Why Muslims Will Never Change Their Lifestyle
It has been practiced for so many centuries. It is a way of following the laws of Islam and emulating the prophet Mohammad (may peace be unto him). Muslims can’t and won’t wake up one day and stop doing what they’ve been doing for years because it would go against Allah.
Each religion has its own rules and laws that their saviour has given them to abide by, and this is one of those laws in the Muslim religion.
