The English Premier League has witnessed a dramatic 2 weeks since the start of the new football season. While some clubs are happily finding the back of the net back to back, some clubs are still experiencing goal drought.
For instance, Chelsea has scored 5 goals in two matches, Liverpool scored 5 goals in two matches, Machester City scored 5 goals in one match (against Norwich on Saturday) while Manchester United scored six goals in two matches. Despite the goal harvest, some clubs are yet to find the back of the net. Here are the 4 of them.
1. Norwich
Norwich is the first on the list because they conceded the most goals compared to others on the list. In their first encounter with Liverpool, they conceded 3 goals without scoring any consolation goal. They were unlucky the second week to have met with the wounded Manchester City who lost to Tottenham the previous week. City loaded them with unequalized 5 goals. They are yet to score in the EPL at the time of writing this article.
2. Arsenal
Arsenal is the second on the list because they conceded a total of 4 goals during the two weeks. During their first encounter with the newly-promoted side, Brentford, they conceded 2 goals without any consolation goal from them. The second week was more frustrating for them after conceding another 2 goals from their rivals, Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium. They have not seen the back of the net since the beginning of the season.
3. Crystal Palace
Palace is the third on the list because they conceded 3 total goals. During their first encounter with Chelsea, they conceded 3 goals without any consolation goal from them. Their second encounter with Brentford produced a fruitless (goalless) encounter. They have conceded 3 goals so far but are yet to score any goal as at the time of writing this article.
4. Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The wolves have been able to concede only 2 goals so far. During their first encounter with Leicester City, they lost the game by 1 Nil. When they played their second game against Tottenham, they conceded 1 goal without an equalizer.
