Man United have met Juventus £21.3million asking price for Cristiano Ronaldo and are in pole position to sign the striker Man City dropped from the race for the five-time Ballon d’Or after negotiations broke down between club and his agent Ronaldo is now in line to make a sensational return to Old Trafford 11 years after leaving to join Real Madrid

Cristiano Ronaldo’s transfer to the Premier League has taken a new twist as his agent Jorge Mendes claims Man United are close to signing the Juventus forward, Sky Sports. Manchester City have been in talks with the supreagent and it is believed that the Etihad outfit offered the Portuguese forward a two-year deal.
