Chelsea are set to announce their new signing this week after reports confirm that medical has just been completed.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Romelu Lukaku just completed main parts of his medical today in Milano, Italy making his transfer back to the Premier League almost as good as done.
What awaits now is just the player’s travel to be unveiled in London by Chelsea later this week though the blues may have to begin their first game without the Belgian.
“Romelu Lukaku has just completed main part of his medical tests as new Chelsea player today morning in Milano. 100% confirmed. 🔵 #CFC Romelu’s camp is now planning together with Chelsea for London flight this week. Deal to be announced in the next few days,” read a tweet from Fabrizio.
Lukaku is returning to Chelsea after two seasons at Inter where he helped them win the Seria A title to end Juventus dominance of many years.
Him alongside Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez had formed one of the most dangerous attacks in Europe and he is expected to transfer his great form to London.
