One of the most important questions to have ever been asked within the football world which is “Which club is going to be Lionel Messi’s next destination following his exit from Barcelona?” got answered yesterday, after the player arrived Paris in France to finish the remaining formalities of the deal that will see him become a PSG player from next season.
The news that the player was getting to leave his former employers Barcelona came as a shocker to several people, as most football fans were almost certain that the 34 year old was getting to renew his contract at Barcelona. Since then things like the removing his pictures from their stadium by his former employers, Fans paying their reference to the footballer within every ten minutes of matches by chanting his name and lots of other things have happened.
From reports, Lionel Messi has now officially signed for Paris Saint German ahead of next season, Which is something that remains the bone of contention for many people who believed he should have picked Manchester city or Chelsea of England than PSG of France.
I believe that they’re three reasons why the player chose PSG over Manchester City or Chelsea which i will like to share with you below.

The gorgeous city of France: From the way the French country has been discussed in terms of aesthetics, we will not under emphasise the very fact that the country may be a beautiful one where everyone would like to visit either for a vacation or for the other reason. For Lionel Messi, i believe that only the seeing of the rising Sun from one corner of the Paris city is going to be a joy giver and he might want to witness it countless number of times.
2. Working under Mauricio Pochettino: The 34 year old Argentine international was one of the happiest players some time past in Barcelona when Mauricio Pochettino was linked to the Barca job, this is because Pochettino is equally an Argentine international a bit like him. one more reason that Lionel Messi may have chosen PSG before every other team across Europe could also be because his fellow countrymen is the coach over there and he wants to play under him.
3. Playing alongside Neymar and Mbappe: Only the thought of playing alongside two of the sport most enjoyable players in Mbappe and Neymar can entice anyone to settle on the French side as his club, and Lionel Messi might not be an exception in this case. The Argentine is going to be playing alongside this players by next season and that i believe he can’t wait to start out within in a few days time.
