Manchester United Confirms Two Official Deals
According to Manchester United Evening News, Manchester United have confirmed the signing of midfielder Ethan Ennis from Liverpool.
Ennis, 16, agreed to join United earlier this year and is listed among the club’s professional development phase players.
D’Mani Mellor has also agreed to a new contract that would keep at the club for a while. Manchester United Official Statement reads:
“D’Mani Mellor has signed a new contract which will see him continue his time with United, having joined the club at the age of nine. Fellow forward Ethan Ennis joins the phase having begun his scholarship with the club following his departure from Liverpool”.
Mourinho Wants Nigerian Striker At Club
AS Roma are considering making an offer for Kelechi Iheanacho if they fail to sign Tammy Abraham, according to Sky Sports.
However, the Nigerian is now a target for Roma, who will be coached by Jose Mourinho from next season. The Nigeria international recently penned a contract extension to June 2024 with the Foxes.
Arsenal In Talks With Real Madrid For Odegaard
According to Sky Sports, Arsenal are in talks with Real Madrid over re-signing attacking midfielder Martin Odegaard on a permanent deal.
Reports in Spain indicate Odegaard will not be part of the Real squad for their opening game of the La Liga season at Alaves on Saturday.
Van Dijk Signs New Liverpool Contract
Virgil Van Dijk has signed a new contract at Liverpool until June 2025. The 30-year-old has made 130 appearances for the club, scoring 13 goals, and collected winner’s medals in the Premier League, Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup
