The 2021 summer transfer window has been very successful for some European clubs, they have been able to acquire the number of players they believe would improve their team’s quality, and have also been able to make a sufficient amount of money from offloading players.

A good example of such club is the much talked about PSG. The French Ligue 1 side were able to secure some of the best players without having to break the bank for it or spend heavily. Lionel Messi, Sergio Ramos, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Georginio Wijnaldum were gotten for free and had to buy Achraf Hakimi. This has been considered the best transfer deal carried out by a club.

On the other hand, Chelsea happens to be one of the few clubs making effective use of the summer transfer window. They secured the services former player, Romelu Lukaku for €115 million and have successfully recouped $127million from the sale of other players.

Ex-Nigerian International, Victor Moses had been on loan with Spartak Moscow earlier, before he secured a full transfer to the club in a deal worth around $6.2 million.

August 17, 2021, Tammy Abraham completed a $49.6million to Italian side AS Roma. Fikayo Tomori completed his move away from Chelsea to AC Milan on the 1st of July, 2021 for a fee of $36.2 million.

Crystal Palace paid quite a fee to secure the services of Chelsea defender, Marc Guehi. On the 18th of July, 2021 a fee of $24.8 million was made and the 21 years old joined the eagles.

The 2nd of August, 2021, 18 years old right back, Valentino Livramento joined Southampton in a $6.9 million deal.

Lewis Bate,18, who played for the Chelsea Under-23 side signed for Leeds United for $2 million. The young player hopes to find more game time with the club.

France striker, Olivier Giroud, 34, completed a move away form England after a long-spell in Europe. He left Chelsea to join Italian side AC Milan on 2 year a deal worth around $1.2 million.
