Ronaldo Asks Juventus To Bench Him.

Juventus forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, told manager Max Allegri to leave him on the bench in their opening game to Udinese in Serie A.

Ronaldo is into the final year of his contract in Turin.

The 36-year-old has reportedly been offered to Manchester City, as he eyes a move away from Italy.

Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano, on Sunday claimed Ronaldo’s absence from the starting XI is a request by the player himself “because he hopes to find a solution” in the transfer market over the coming days.

Romano, however, added that no official bids have been lodged for the Portugal captain.

Lukaku Names His Best Goal.

Chelsea striker, Romelu Lukaku has said his first goal for the club is the most special Premier League goal he has ever scored.

Lukaku tapped in from Reece James’s cross to give the Blues the lead against Arsenal on Sunday.

While the finish was straightforward, the 28-year-old did well to hold up the ball in the build-up, before running onto the pass from James.

Before the game, Lukaku already had 113 career Premier League goals to his name, Although he never scored in the 10 domestic appearances he made during his first stint with Chelsea.
