Today, the request of the Police to remand 21-year-old Chidinma Ojukwu in their custody was granted by a Magistrate Court in Yaba, Lagos. The Police filed the application before Magistrate Adeola Adedayo, requesting that Chidinma be remanded in their custody for 30 days.
Recall that Chidinma was arrested on 23rd June for allegedly murdering the Super TV boss, Usifo Ataga.
It was disclosed that Usifo Ataga was having an affair with Chidinma who was a 300-level student of University of Lagos (UniLag).
During the hearing of the application, the prosecutor presented evidences to support his application which was not rebutted by the defence counsel.
Therefore, the judge granted the application and adjourned the matter to the 5th of September.
