Former Nigeria’s Presidential candidate and Chairman of Ovation Media Group, Dele Momodu has reacted to the mammoth crowd at the wedding between President Muhammadu Buhari’s son and Emir of Bichi’s daughter today in Kano State.
Yusuf Buhari tied the knot with Zahra Bayero in the wedding Fatiha that had a multitude of high-flying guests stormed the city of Kano. Yusuf Buhari is the President Buhari’s son while Zahara Bayero is the daughter of Emir of Bichi, Nasiru Ado-Bayero and they both got married at a colourful wedding that several important personalities in and outside the country in attendance.
Among those dignitaries who attended the wedding are ex-president, Goodluck Jonathan; ex-vice president, Atiku Abubakar; ex-nigerien president, Mamadiou Isoufou; Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami; ex-aviation minister, Femi-Fani Kayode; Yobe state governor, Mai Mala Buni; Kano state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje; Ekiti state governor, Kayode Fayemi and a host of others.
Reacting via a series of photos and videos uploaded on his Instagram handle, Momodu said described the huge number of attendants at the wedding as the second of its type ever witnessed by him.
According to the Ovation Magazine Chairman, the first wedding that ever recorded such a huge number of attendants in the country before now was the wedding of Aliko Dangote’s child.
He further said that such a huge attendance is not unexpected of someone of President Buhari’s calibre being the president of the most populous black country in the world. Photo credit: Instagram.
