Chelsea will play their match day 3 of the 2021/2022 Premier League season when they travel to Anfield on Saturday, 28 August, 2021.

The Blues beat Arsenal 0-2 at the Emirate Stadium last weekend. Their new record signing, Romelu Lukaku and England’s Reece James were on target for Chelsea.
The Reds made it two Premier League wins from two with victory after beating Burnley last Weekend at Anfield, thanks to goals from Diogo Jota and Sadio Mane.
However, here are two reasons why Chelsea will beat Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday.
1. Great Attack
Romelu Lukaku would worry any defence in the world of football right now. The Chelsea new signing is clinical in front of goals and can create space by using physical power while forcing defensive mistakes from opposition teams players. This was evident during their match against Arsenal last weekend.
Mount and Hervertz discipline and understanding could pose a problem to the Liverpool defence.They give short passes in order to carefully penetrate space and keep possession while drawing opponents out of positions.
2. Good Defensive Midfield
The duo of Jorginho and Kante could make it hard for Liverpool’s attacking midfielders. The two players mostly dictate the pace of Chelsea’s games with their versatility and competency.
N’Golo Kante usually moves around the pitch with pushing up, wide positioning and high tempo play to further add attacking and defensive pressure while Jorginho’s intelligence and energy help the team in breaking up opposition attacks.
There’s no doubt Chelsea’s midfielders will make it difficult for the Reds in the middle of the park.
3. Smart Thomas Tuchel
Since Thomas Tuchel came to Chelsea at the end of January, he has rejuvenated them after a poor start under Frank Lampard. The Blues look like a reformed side and have been superb under him. The German knows how to get the best out of his players.
