Nigerians respond to Kanayo O. Kanayo’s comments concerning death of Sylvester Oromoni

Nigerians have praised iconic actor Kanayo O. Kanayo after he waded in on the current issue of a Dowen pupil, who is 12 years old.

Prior to his death, late Sylvester Oromoni was a student at Dowen College in Lagos.

He was supposedly beaten to death by his classmates for refusing to join a cult group at school, a charge denied by the school.

According to the school administration, late Sylvester died as a result of an injury sustained while playing football.https://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/ads?client=ca-pub-1883810847636355&output=html&h=300&slotname=8189887843&adk=3298525038&adf=933545141&pi=t.ma~as.8189887843&w=360&rafmt=1&armr=1&psa=1&format=360×300&url=https%3A%2F%2Fstories.6chcdn.feednews.com%2Fnews%2Fdetail%2Fbb710e7cbeebde945ed49c0bbe0bdc6a%3Fclient%3Dnews&flash=0&fwr=1&rs=1&rh=250&rw=300&rpe=1&resp_fmts=3&sfro=1&wgl=1&dt=1638624515761&bpp=36&bdt=3578&idt=1597&shv=r20211201&mjsv=m202112010101&ptt=9&saldr=aa&abxe=1&prev_fmts=0x0&nras=1&correlator=4418636138862&frm=20&pv=1&ga_vid=146793704.1638624513&ga_sid=1638624517&ga_hid=1930023720&ga_fc=1&u_tz=60&u_his=1&u_h=800&u_w=360&u_ah=800&u_aw=360&u_cd=24&dmc=2&adx=0&ady=719&biw=360&bih=627&scr_x=0&scr_y=0&eid=44750774%2C44752536%2C31062423%2C31063825%2C31063851%2C31060475&oid=2&pvsid=621029677285448&pem=590&tmod=1015766753&loc=https%3A%2F%2Fstories.6chcdn.feednews.com%2Fnews%2Fdetail%2Fbb710e7cbeebde945ed49c0bbe0bdc6a%3Fac%3D3g%26app_version%3D9.2.2254.59825%26client%3Dnews%26country%3Dng%26entry_id%3D4fc63a3b211204en_ng%26features%3D281198437859085%26lang%3Den%26language%3Den%26low_perf%3Dfalse%26mode%3Dbody%26picture_less%3Ddisabled%26request_id%3DHOME_PAGE_936b1b5e-843a-4eab-b53d-596211a481d2%26swdp%3D360%26uid%3D1a1f65ce1f7edd46aedb65eaa81f0a2111305498&eae=0&fc=1920&brdim=0%2C0%2C0%2C0%2C360%2C0%2C360%2C627%2C360%2C627&vis=1&rsz=%7C%7CeEbr%7C&abl=CS&pfx=0&fu=128&bc=31&ifi=2&uci=a!2&btvi=1&fsb=1&xpc=UfJIXQKv45&p=https%3A//stories.6chcdn.feednews.com&dtd=1670

Following a public outcry on social media, the Lagos State Government intervened and ordered the institution to be closed indefinitely.

However, renowned actor Kanayo insists that just closing the school is really not enough justice for the sad 12-year-old child who lost his life in a tragic way.

Kanayo, in an Instagram video, urged Governor Sanwo-Olu to look into the case, ensuring that the late youngster receives justice.https://googleads.g.doubleclick.net/pagead/ads?client=ca-pub-1883810847636355&output=html&h=375&slotname=2747178842&adk=1181927264&adf=620058604&pi=t.ma~as.2747178842&w=360&rafmt=11&psa=1&format=360×375&url=https%3A%2F%2Fstories.6chcdn.feednews.com%2Fnews%2Fdetail%2Fbb710e7cbeebde945ed49c0bbe0bdc6a%3Fclient%3Dnews&flash=0&fwr=1&wgl=1&dt=1638624515799&bpp=16&bdt=3617&idt=1747&shv=r20211201&mjsv=m202112010101&ptt=9&saldr=aa&abxe=1&prev_fmts=0x0%2C360x300&nras=1&correlator=4418636138862&frm=20&pv=1&ga_vid=146793704.1638624513&ga_sid=1638624517&ga_hid=1930023720&ga_fc=1&rplot=4&u_tz=60&u_his=1&u_h=800&u_w=360&u_ah=800&u_aw=360&u_cd=24&dmc=2&adx=0&ady=1382&biw=360&bih=627&scr_x=0&scr_y=0&eid=44750774%2C44752536%2C31062423%2C31063825%2C31063851%2C31060475&oid=2&pvsid=621029677285448&pem=590&tmod=1015766753&loc=https%3A%2F%2Fstories.6chcdn.feednews.com%2Fnews%2Fdetail%2Fbb710e7cbeebde945ed49c0bbe0bdc6a%3Fac%3D3g%26app_version%3D9.2.2254.59825%26client%3Dnews%26country%3Dng%26entry_id%3D4fc63a3b211204en_ng%26features%3D281198437859085%26lang%3Den%26language%3Den%26low_perf%3Dfalse%26mode%3Dbody%26picture_less%3Ddisabled%26request_id%3DHOME_PAGE_936b1b5e-843a-4eab-b53d-596211a481d2%26swdp%3D360%26uid%3D1a1f65ce1f7edd46aedb65eaa81f0a2111305498&eae=0&fc=1920&brdim=0%2C0%2C0%2C0%2C360%2C0%2C360%2C627%2C360%2C627&vis=1&rsz=%7C%7CeEbr%7C&abl=CS&pfx=0&fu=128&bc=31&ifi=3&uci=a!3&btvi=2&fsb=1&xpc=YxZ6cO2ADy&p=https%3A//stories.6chcdn.feednews.com&dtd=1787
